Patient Safety Fellowship

Applications Closed

Are you ready to help design a health system built to advance safety above all?

We invite you to apply for this summer’s Patient Safety Fellowship, focused on advancing the blueprint for an Ambition Health System—an ideal yet feasible health system that prevents harm before it occurs.

This year’s fellowship offers a unique opportunity to learn directly from national experts working to redesign health care around powerful strategies. Through collaborative learning sessions, explore how AI-enabled systems, human-centered design, and real-time data can support clinicians, strengthen decision-making, and empower patients as active participants in their care.

Fellows from interdisciplinary graduate programs will work in teams to build scenarios for key health system stakeholder groups to describe how they would benefit from a health system built on a safety platform.

As a Fellow, you will:

  • Gain insight into systems-based approaches that prevent conditions that contribute to harm
  • Engage with top national leaders shaping the future of safer health systems
  • Strengthen your professional portfolio with experience in safety innovation
